Jane Goodall is my Earth mentor and North Star.
She epitomized Thoreau's quote;
"Heaven is under our feet, as well as over our heads."
Every animal, plant, mineral and spiritual encounter I pursued,
she was with me,
pushing me on,
an indomitable being.
I'm a bit lost, 
without her quiet strong earthly presence.
So as the season dons it's winter mantel,
I've been 
bumping my shins on the impermanence of life.
Lifting the veil to experience her and all of my Humanity Heroes.

Jane Goodall's global institute supports more than just animals.
