A Dynamic Community
Family Friends Community,
Diving off the coast of Palawan in the South China Sea,
I was mesmerized by the colourful, sturdy and flexible coral.
Fish were mingling in the coral reef as a place to hide, rest and strike a pose.
With each wave the alive bits of coral waved and danced with this symbiotic family.
A coral enterprise success.
Resilient.
Easy with change.
Thriving with many species.
Dynamic.
For most of my business life I've been a one woman show.
To fortify my singular business,
I collaborate with imaginative
enterprising individuals in far away places,
to grow what they create.
We live symbiosis.
I,
fortify and connect,
create structure ,
intuit cultural desires,
meet demand.
Our process to
grow, thrive and be dynamic,
I call
Coralization.
Captivated by the coral enterprise,
I swam farther out.
Paying no attention to the above world.
Soaked in the coralization lesson.
There is order in this wildness of coral.
There is collaboration and instinct to build a
beneficial community.
Diving deeper,
drawn into this enterprise with fascination,
an explosion pummeled my body.
Echoed in my ears.
Gasping,
I surfaced.
Far off in the distance fisherman
threw dynamite off the sides of the boat.
They scooped up the floating fish.
Illegal and dangerous dynamite fishing is practiced to this day.
Humans are adrift with living in community with Humans
and last on the schedule with our Earth...these days.
The symbiosis that we seek with one another is nipped
then mentally sutured with visible thread.
A badge of hurt, distrust and separation.
I've been part of that insidious drift.
Sensitive when anything plant or animal
is unfairly hunted
I,
blamed those people
those fisherman
that country.
Whilst I was on holiday
and they with starving children.
Older,
I have learned that
living wild naturally exudes coralization.
What remains?
From that dive just nigh of 22 years ago,
a desire for a dynamic community.
To coralize every chance I get.
To understand
the underlying reasons a local fisherman
has to use dynamite.
Small business fails.
Stress pervading our psyche.
Humans leaving humanity out of the equation.
American children rank 2nd out of 35 countries as the poorest.
Humans throwing dynamite onto the planet.
"In our every deliberation, we must consider the impact of our decisions on the next seven generations." *
To coralize
is my urge to live wild.
Live a symbiotic community
as the soft branches of coral
seek, entice and preserve.
Let's coralize.
Build a dynamic community with
empathy
symbiosis
and bio degradable thread.
